WAYNESBORO – An unidentified person was hospitalized with what police described as a “non-life-threatening” gunshot wound at 3 a.m. Monday, March 17, according to Waynesboro Police Chief Ryan Ramsey. This occurred in the 100 block of S. Potomac Street. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
This is believed to be a targeted, isolated incident, police said. Ramsey declined to provide additional identifying information about the victim since “this is an active ongoing investigation.” Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waynesboro police at 717-762-2131 or submit a tip through CrimeWatch.
