WAYNESBORO – Shoppers flocked to the Crackers Event Center on Saturday for the Holly Jolly Holiday Market, a festive kickoff to the holiday season that highlighted local artisans and Small Business Saturday.
The event, held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5857 Orphanage Road, featured 15 vendors offering a bounty of gifts, crafts, jewelry, home decor and baked goods. Attendees browsed handmade treasures while supporting Waynesboro’s small business community.
Santa Claus made a special appearance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., posing for photos with children and spreading cheer amid twinkling lights and seasonal scents. The Hill Billy Jerky food truck served up savory treats, complementing displays from vendors like Keystone Candles.
A highlight was the Holiday Passport Giveaway, where participants collected stamps from vendors for chances to win prizes. Organizers said the initiative encouraged exploration and bolstered local sales.
The market wrapped up with smiles and stuffed shopping bags, underscoring the joy of community-driven holiday traditions.
