WAYNESBORO – The Waynesboro Area YMCA will host its annual Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering families a free day of activities aimed at fostering healthy habits and community engagement.
The event, open to the public, will feature games, crafts and activity stations designed to inspire children and families to stay active and healthy. Attendees can also take guided tours of the YMCA facilities to learn more about its programs and membership benefits.
Healthy Kids Day is part of a national YMCA initiative to promote youth development and well-being. This year’s event is supported by WellSpan Health, Strouse Entertainment and M&T Bank.
“This is a great opportunity for families to connect with community resources while having fun,” said Kathy Bostic, a representative of the Waynesboro Area YMCA.
Rain or shine, the event promises to be a lively kickoff to summer activities at the YMCA.
