WAYNESBORO—Looking for New Year’s Eve entertainment that doesn’t require a designated driver?
The 2022 Boro Blast will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, throughout downtown Waynesboro.
The event, sponsored by Mainstreet Waynesboro, F&M Trust and McDonald’s Restaurants, will include activities for the entire family including a storytime for kids; special showing of “Disney’s Frozen 2” at 3 p.m. at the Waynesboro Theatre; music on the Main Street Stage; champion ice carver Danny Kissel at Main Street Park beginning at 5 p.m.; and countdown and balloon and sneaker drop at 7 p.m.
There will be an opportunity to eat, dance and welcome the new year (a few hours early) in style, with free swag and chances to win prizes from local businesses.
