HAGERSTOWN — Business leaders and community members are invited to network “among the art” during this month’s Coffee & Connections event hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 8 a.m.
The morning networking event will feature coffee, light conversation and a showcase of local artwork displayed in the F&M Trust Training Room in partnership with the Valley Arts Association.
Chamber officials said the February gathering highlights the intersection of business and creativity, offering attendees an opportunity to make professional connections while viewing work from local artist Carol Wilks.
Wilks has worked across multiple mediums for more than four decades, including drawing, photography, oil and watercolor, with a focus on pastel. Her artwork has been displayed in regional galleries and exhibitions throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia.
This month’s Coffee & Connections is sponsored by Ashton Vattelena of Edward Jones. Coffee for the event has been donated by River Bottom Roasters.
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is located at 1 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown. The event is open to members and guests.
