GREENCASTLE – Hundreds flocked to the Evangelical Lutheran Church on North Washington Street for the annual Old Home Week Community Carnival, a vibrant event filled with games, food and family-friendly fun.
The carnival, hosted at the church, welcomed attendees with a complimentary Evangelical Lutheran Church bag and a ticket to enjoy a variety of games. Hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream and water were served, ensuring no one went hungry.
Children eagerly participated in games offering big and small prizes. Popular activities included picking a favorite duck to win a prize, spinning a wheel for rewards, tossing rings and dropping disks in the prize drop game. Other attractions featured rolling dice and tossing bean bags into buckets, keeping young attendees entertained.
The standout attraction was the sculpture hat balloon game, which proved to be the most popular among the crowd.
The event fostered a sense of community, bringing together families for an evening of laughter and celebration during Old Home Week.
