The Greencastle-Antrim School District’s Greencastle-Antrim High School (GAHS) Unified Bocce team has achieved remarkable success, recently being crowned the district champion. In a critical match against Boiling Springs, the team secured a 5-2 victory, with standout player Cat Reiber making a pivotal play that shifted the score from a tie of 2-2 to a lead of 3-2 for GAHS. This clutch performance propelled them into the championship round, where they decisively defeated Palmyra with a score of 7-1, showcasing a strong team effort throughout the competition. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone for the unified bocce program, which has quickly established itself within the district’s athletic landscape.
