CHAMBERSBURG – Book lovers and bargain hunters will have plenty to celebrate as the 39th Annual Friends of Legal Services Book Sale returns to Wilson College’s Laird Hall this weekend.
The three-day event kicks off Friday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., continues Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and wraps up Sunday, June 1, from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can browse tens of thousands of new and used books, as well as CDs, DVDs, puzzles and board games.
Organizers say the sale features more than 50 categories, including mysteries, biographies, romance and classic literature, ensuring there is something for every reader and collector. Proceeds from the event support Franklin County Legal Services, which provides legal assistance to those in need.
The Friends of Legal Services Book Sale has become a staple in the community, drawing crowds eager to find hidden literary gems while supporting a good cause.
