CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Commissioners will consider a summer fresh produce for seniors, along with the cutting of four jail positions from full to part time when they meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2.
The meeting will be in the county Administration Program, Room 824.
The fresh produce program allows for the distribution of vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables for seniors age 60 and older which can be redeemed between June 1 and Sept. 30 and then reimbursed by the state.
Commissioners also will consider reducing four full-time jail positions to part time.
The public is invited to comment at the meeting, which also is streamed on the county’s YouTube channel and at http://bit.ly/BOCCLiveStream.
