CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Career and Technology Center students returned from the National FFA Convention and Competition in Indianapolis with a haul of medals and national rankings.
The event highlighted individual and team achievements in veterinary science and nursery and landscape categories.
In veterinary science, Emylee Ehmer earned bronze individually. Hailey Gingrich and Kyleigh Smith each claimed silver. McKenna Murphy took gold.
The Vet Science Team secured silver in the competition section and finished 29th nationally.
Braden Lehman and Hayden Conner also won silver individually in the category. Racheal Welsh earned bronze, while Danielle Herrold captured gold.
In nursery and landscape, the team earned silver in the competition section and placed 19th nationally.
Dave Perry, landscaping and horticulture instructor and FFA adviser, and Lisa Cook, veterinary assisting instructor and FFA adviser, guided the students.
