Dental assisting students from the Franklin County Career and Technology Center recently stepped out of the classroom and into the clinic for a series of integration days at Keystone Dental.
Under the guidance of instructor Miss Miller, students practiced a wide range of essential industry skills on-site. The hands-on sessions allowed the cohort to rotate through various responsibilities, including clinical assisting, equipment sterilization, and front-desk reception duties.
The partnership with Keystone Dental, a local workforce partner, aims to bridge the gap between academic instruction and professional practice. School officials expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the experience provides students with a realistic look at the daily operations of a dental office.
“THANK YOU Keystone Dental for making these beautiful smiles,” the school shared in a statement following the visit.
The program continues to prioritize these workforce partnerships to ensure students are career-ready upon graduation.
