MONT ALTO – The Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its 50th annual Fireman’s Carnival Friday, June 13, through Saturday, June 21. The event takes place at the Richard K Sleicher Event Complex, next to the firehouse at the intersection of S. Main and Walnut streets.
The milestone celebration features rides for all ages by Snyder’s Attractions, a variety of food options including homemade soups, carnival games and nightly 25-cent bingo. Live entertainment performing every evening throughout the carnival’s run.
Admission and parking are free. Fireworks are scheduled for Friday, June 20, at 9:45 p.m., with June 21 set as the rain date.
Pay-one-price ride wristbands, which allowed for unlimited rides on the day of purchase, were available daily. On Monday, June 16, Family Night offered $5 off regular wristband prices. Individual ride tickets also were available.
