CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Franklin County Visitors Bureau is inviting residents and visitors to discover new experiences across the county through the latest episode of FCVB-TV, which showcases upcoming events, attractions and activities taking place throughout the region this summer.
Episode 59 of the tourism-focused program highlights a variety of events and destinations that reflect the county’s history, culture and community spirit, including the Fort Loudoun Market Fair, Chambersburg’s Juneteenth celebration, a preview of activities commemorating the 1864 Burning of Chambersburg and the opening round of the popular A Cappella & Unplugged music competition.
In addition to the episode, the visitors bureau highlighted several upcoming events taking place across Franklin County, including “Cocktails in the Cemetery,” a special event that offers participants an opportunity to explore local history in a unique setting. The bureau is also promoting the two-day Chambersburg Juneteenth celebration, which will include performances by NETwork Step Now and other activities honoring the holiday.
Other upcoming events include the Buttonwood Bay Supper Fundraiser, which supports environmental and educational initiatives, and a Father’s Day-themed promotion from Undone Kombucha celebrating dads throughout the community.
The Franklin County Visitors Bureau also encourages residents and visitors to check its online events calendar for additional activities, including carnivals, trivia nights, community gatherings and seasonal festivals taking place throughout the summer months.
