FANNETT TOWNSHIP – Travis Hockenberry, 53, is facing criminal attempted homicide charges after allegedly firing a shotgun at a car with two people inside, shooting out the back window, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A husband and wife had come to Hockenberry’s house to confront him about allegedly groping their 15-year-old daughter at a wedding in Huntingdon County earlier in the day. The couple’s daughter stated in an affidavit that Hockenberry touched her under her skirt while she was on the dance floor.
State police reported that Hockenberry fired four shots during the incident.
Hockenberry now faces charges including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
These charges do not include any sexual assault charges from State Police in Chambersburg. There is no word if an investigation into the alleged sexual assault is underway in the Huntingdon County jurisdiction at this time.
