HAGERSTOWN – The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is inviting women across the region to attend the next Women Empowered event, a free, interactive leadership workshop designed to equip local professionals with practical strategies for organizational success.
The session, titled “7 Strategies for Organizational Success,” will take place Friday, Aug. 8, from 7:30 to 9 a.m., in the Chamber’s F&M Trust Training Room at 1 S. Potomac St.
Led by Lori Wriston, CEO and co-founder of ValorExcel, the workshop aims to help women in business and nonprofit roles identify internal challenges, clarify direction, and reignite their team’s passion. Wriston brings more than 30 years of experience in helping organizations and individuals grow through strategic coaching, training and development.
“This workshop – “7 Strategies for Organizational Success” – is more than just another professional development session. It’s an opportunity for women leaders to take a powerful pause, reassess where they are, and walk away with practical strategies that will help them achieve their goals and drive meaningful results,” Wriston said. “This workshop is a reset button, a chance to shed what no longer works, learn to grow from challenges, and begin designing a roadmap that gets results. I want attendees to walk away feeling equipped, encouraged, and energized to take their organizations to the next level.”
Participants will explore real-world solutions in an open and supportive environment. The session is tailored to women leaders and entrepreneurs at any stage of their careers.
The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is encouraged at:
