This Easter season, Franklin County is bursting with colorful egg hunts and festive activities for all ages. From family-friendly gatherings to unique events like the Easter Hound Hunt, there’s something for everyone to enjoy
Metal Township Fire and Ambulance at 10862 Path Valley Road, in Fannettsburg will be hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, at 10 a.m. Children will be grouped by age for the egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny will be there from 8 – 10 a.m.! This event is open for children of all ages.
Backroads Greenhouse at 5991 Boundary Road, in Chambersburg will host its first ever egg hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. The age groups will be 0–4, 5–7, and 8-12. It is free for the community.
Keystone State Carving at 1345 Twinbridge Road in Chambersburg will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, starting at 1 p.m.
Transitions Healthcare Shook Home at 55 S. Second St. in Chambersburg will hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 12 at 2 p.m. Staff and families are invited to bring their children under age 12 to the egg hunt. All participants are asked to arrive in the activity room by 1:30.
Greencastle-Baptist Church at 2377 Buchanan Trail West in Greencastle will hold its Easter Morning Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 20, from 9:40 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
Grace Bible Church at 2327 Hoffman Road in Greencastle will host its Celebration Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 12, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. All children from age 2 up to 6th grade are welcome to come participate. This event is rain or shine.
Grace Baptist Church at 623 N .Grant St., Waynesboro will host a Children’s Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 20.
Five Forks Church at 9244 Five Forks Road in Waynesboro will host an Easter Egg Hunt on April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be other fun events happening alongside it, and this event will take place rain or shine.
Fairview Avenue Brethren in Christ Church at 152 Fairview Ave., Waynesboro will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 20, after worship service at the pavilion. This event is open to children through age 10.
Christ Reformed United Church of Christ at 12 S. Church St., Middletown, Maryland, is holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Calvary Baptist Church of 1165 Crottlestown Road in Chambersburg is holding an Easter Egg Hunter on Sunday, April 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. All children from ages 3-12 are welcome, and bags will be provided.
