CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Dunkin will open a new restaurant Saturday along Philadelphia Avenue, offering a drive-through designed for faster service and giveaways for early customers.
The 2,000-square-foot restaurant at 5267 Philadelphia Ave. is scheduled to open at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Regular operating hours will be 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The location includes Dunkin’s On-the-Go drive-thru lane, which is intended to help customers receive mobile orders more quickly. The restaurant also features the company’s updated store design.
The first 100 customers in line for the opening celebration will receive free coffee for a year, according to Dunkin. The event also will include a prize wheel, appearances by the company mascot Cuppy and additional promotional activities.
Franchisee Peter Patel will operate the restaurant. Patel owns and operates 12 other Dunkin locations in Pennsylvania, the company said.
The new restaurant is expected to employ about 15 crew members.
Founded in 1950, Dunkin operates more than 14,200 restaurants across nearly 40 markets worldwide.
