CHAMBERSBURG – The Chambersburg Community Theatre will bring the acclaimed drama “August: Osage County” to the Wood Center at the Capitol Theatre in Chambersburg from Feb. 20–22.
The production invites audiences into the volatile world of the Weston family, whose members reunite under one roof to face long-buried secrets and unraveling relationships. The play blends sharp humor with searing emotion, offering a story that is as unsettling as it is profoundly human.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20; 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22. The play, directed by a leading regional theater artist, features a cast of seasoned performers who capture the fraught dynamics that made Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning script a modern classic.
