HAGERSTOWN – Hagerstown Community College is currently accepting donations for its spring Career Closet Pop-up Shop, which provides free professional clothing to students preparing for internships and job opportunities. The donation drive runs until March 31, with a particular need for men’s shirts in sizes S/M.
Collection boxes are conveniently located at various sites, including HCC’s Valley Mall Center, main campus buildings (ASA, CPB, STC), the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the WCPS Center for Education Services. This initiative, which has served an average of 150 students annually since 2018, offers students the chance to select up to five free items of professional attire.
The Career Closet not only helps students dress appropriately for professional settings but also boosts their confidence as they enter the workforce or pursue internships.
