WAYNESBORO— The First Friday event in Waynesboro will take place on Friday, July 7 at the Main Street Park. The event will feature food trucks and live music by Tim Seals.
Attendees can also participate in a planting activity where they can plant a plant of their choosing. The Little Greenhouse will provide the plants, soil, and moss, and attendees can paint their pots with the provided paints. Tickets for the planting portion of the event are $15 and can be ordered on Eventbrite.
In addition to the planting activity, several shops in downtown Waynesboro will have extended hours and special offers. The Crispy Bisquit will offer a free kids cone with the purchase of an adult cone, For the Love of Dogs will have 10% off their doggie Popsicles, and Wee Scot book shoppe is offering 15% off their gardening books.
The event is open to both kids and adults. Come downtown to enjoy the festivities and explore all that Waynesboro has to offer.
