WAYNE HEIGHTS—Don’t rely on the U.S. Postal Service to deliver your letters to the North Pole this year. Instead, get them to Santa’s mailbox outside the Washington Township Police Department.
“Washington Township Police Officers have been granted special North Pole Police status by Santa’s security team so we can collect letters for Santa,” explained Cindy Broas, office manager of the police department.
The mailbox provides a direct line to Santa’s workshop, but in order to guarantee delivery, letters must be dropped off before Dec. 13.
“Don’t forget to put your name and address on the letter so Santa can check his nice list,” Broas said.
Santa’s mailbox is located outside the Washington Township Police Department, 13013 Welty Road, Waynesboro.
