WAYNESBORO – Damascus Road Christian Academy marked its official opening with a ribbon cutting and open house on July 17 at 336 Barnett Ave.
The academy, located within the Church of the Apostles, welcomed local families, students and staff to tour the new school and learn more about its mission. Haley Reynolds, founder of the school and longtime Waynesboro resident, greeted attendees and shared her vision for quality, Christian-based education in the area.
“Our mission is to equip students with an excellent academic and spiritual education,” Reynolds said.
The school opens its doors to 12 students this fall, serving kindergarten through 12th grade. Classes begin Aug. 20, and the school is guided by core values focused on community, spiritual growth and high-quality academics.
Damascus Road Christian Academy seeks to transform Christian education in the region by building relationships and fostering inclusion among students and families.
