Nov. 7-9 is a fun-filled weekend for the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance with different events for people across all age groups to enjoy.
From Friday at 7 p.m to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Joy El Ministries will be holding its Youth Fall Retreat. Through worship, teaching and ’80s fun, students will learn how to stay grounded in God’s word and trust His promises even when life gets rough.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, in Hagerstown, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Conococheague Institute, 12955 Bain Road in Mercersburg, the Revolutionary Homestead will be holding a program with exhibits on frontier life and culture and access to the museum and gift shop.
Revolutionary Homestead explores how simple lives were shaped by one of the most formative periods in American history.
This event is free to all and no RSVP is required.
On Sunday, Nov. 9, from 2-5 p.m., there will be an Open Mic and Jam Session hosted by Frank Davis and Bobby Flurie at Reid’s Winery Tasting Room and Cider House at 400 Baltimore St., Gettysburg.
Bring your instrument to showcase your talent! It is recommended to bring your own mic, but it is not required. Only acoustic instruments are allowed, and admission is free for everyone!
On Sunday, Nov. 9, from 3-5 p.m., at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School at 550 E. Second St., The Waddington Brothers will be preforming.
The Waddington Brothers, a band consisting of four brothers, Seth, Ethan, Jacob, and Job, Waddington from rural North Dakota perform “music that is real to them”. The brothers skilfully blend cowboy and bluegrass music, creating a style that is both classic yet new and unique.
The annual six-concert subscription is $50 while singular concerts are $25. Active and retired military personnel as well as K-12 students are admitted free of charge.
On Sunday, Nov. 9, from 3-4:30 p.m. at The Capitol Theatre, 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg, there will be an American Made; Oak Ridge Boys Tribute. This event recreates the magic of The Oak RIdge Boys with stunning authenticity.
The Oak Ridge Boys are a vocal quartet that consist of Duane Allen, William Lee Golden, Richard Sterban and Ben James who replaces Joe Bonsall in 2023. The tribute band delivers each song with precision and heartfelt emotion, capturing the essence of the original group.
Non-alcoholic drinks and concessions will be available for purchase the night of the show. Admission fees:
