GREENCASTLE – The annual Craft Beer Wine & Spirits Festival will be returning to the BStreet parking lot on Saturday, April 12, and features tastings from local small brewers from Franklin County including Greencaste’s own local brewery, Hidden Key, as well as GearHouse Brewing, Micheaux Brewing and Rough Edges Brewing.
“There are a total of 16 breweries represented from across Pennsylvania and the region,” said Kylie Belle Moore, executive director of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce. “We also highlight local wineries and distilleries. We also have a non-alcoholic vendor.” Participating wineries are Castlerigg and Screaming Bambino, and the distillers include Cold Spring Hollow from Mercersburg, the Spirits of Gettysburg, Excise Distillery and Pour Decisions Distillery. Kindred Spirits from Chambersburg will be providing tastings of their non-alcoholic products.
The event will be held in the BStreet parking lot, 121 E. Baltimore St. “Last year celebrated the 10th anniversary for this event in Greencastle, and the committee received good feedback about the location so we decided to hold it downtown again,” according to Moore. “Greencastle is a beautiful small town. We want people to come and see us, and then come back again.”
Sponsored by M&T Bank, the Festival runs noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. In addition to tastings, participants can also enjoy great music, small games of chance and food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.
Tickets are $40 available for sale at https://tinyurl.com/cbws2025. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $10. No one under 21 will be admitted to the event, and ID must be provided for entry.
