GREENCASTLE – Corelle Brands, a well-known manufacturer and distributor of kitchenware, is set to close its facility in Franklin County, resulting in the loss of over 300 jobs. The company, located on Molly Pitcher Highway in Greencastle, has announced that 323 employees will be laid off in three phases over the coming months.
The layoffs will occur as follows:
- June 9, 192 employees
- Sept. 30, 106 employees
- Nov. 17, 25 employees
This closure follows a similar shutdown by Corelle Brands in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, in October 2024, which led to 270 job losses. Corelle Brands is widely recognized for producing popular kitchenware brands such as Pyrex, Corelle, CorningWare, Snapware, Chicago Cutlery and Instant.
