WAYNESBORO – The Church of the Apostles, United Church of Christ, will host its annual Free Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 336 Barnett Ave.
The event promises a lineup of autumn activities for families and community members, including a ride to a nearby pumpkin patch where attendees can select their own pumpkins. An ice cream truck from Antietam Dairy, offering 40 flavors, will be on site, along with disc golf games for participants of all ages.
Organizers emphasized the free admission and welcoming atmosphere, aiming to foster community spirit amid the fall season. In case of rain, the fest will move to Sunday, Oct. 12, at the same time and location.
The church, known for its involvement in local outreach, described the event as a casual gathering to celebrate the harvest. No registration is required, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early for the limited-time activities.
