The Waynesboro Area YMCA hosted its annual Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing families with free activities focused on fostering healthy habits and community engagement.
The event featured games, crafts and activity stations designed to encourage physical and cognitive engagement for children and parents. Attendees explored guided tours of the YMCA facilities to learn about membership benefits and summer programs.
As part of a national YMCA initiative, the event aimed to promote youth development and well-being through partnerships with WellSpan Health, Strouse Entertainment and M&T Bank.
“This is a great opportunity for families to connect with community resources while having fun,” said Kathy Bostic, a YMCA representative.
