FRANKLIN COUNTY – The spirit of the holiday season was on full display during the recent First Responders Appreciation Day as volunteers traveled throughout the Cumberland Valley delivering Christmas cheer and heartfelt thanks to local first responders.
Volunteers from the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance visited stations across Franklin County, bringing gift bags filled with snacks, supplies and coffee as a small token of appreciation for the men and women who serve their communities every day. Smiles, gratitude and warm holiday wishes were shared at each stop, creating meaningful moments of connection and recognition.
“This day was about gratitude,” said CVBA Communications & Member Engagement Specialist Nikki Howells. “Our first responders give so much of themselves year-round, and this was an opportunity to pause during the busy holiday season and simply say thank you.”
The event was made possible through the generosity of sponsors and donors who believe in supporting local heroes. Special recognition goes to the Hero Sponsor, Corning Credit Union. Contributor Sponsors included RKL, LLP and the Chambersburg Club, Inc. Fast Ink served as the Coffee Sponsor, helping keep first responders warm during this winter season.
Members of the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance would like to extend sincere thanks to every volunteer, sponsor and donor who helped turn appreciation into action. Their collective efforts made this year’s event a resounding success.
