South Hagerstown placed two players in double figures on Tuesday but the Rebels couldn’t match the balanced attack of Clear Spring’s girls basketball team.
Cheyenne Jenson led the Blazers with a game-high 13 points in the victory. Kae Roberts and Kaylee Hensley added seven points each, while Lexi Matthews had six points.
Khloe Terralonge (12 points) and Aniyah Freeman (11) were the Rebels’ 1-2 punch, while Kristen Gyamfi added four points.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
Shepherd place four players to region team
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Four members of the Shepherd University women’s soccer team earned recognition on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Division II Women’s All-Atlantic Region Team on Tuesday.
Midfielder Reagan Ackermann, midfielder Josie Beezel and defender Adrianna Morales each earned first-team honors, while midfielder Annabelle Wunderlich was listed on the second team.
Shepherd was 12-2-6 overall and were Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champions.
Ackermann recorded eight goals and eight assists and had a pair of game-winning goals this season.
Morales had four assists, while anchoring Shepherd’s defense, which accounted for nine shutouts and allowed just one goal in nine other contests.
Beezel tallied eight goals and nine assists, topping the team with three game-winning goals.
Wunderlich recorded three goals and five assists, including a pair of game-winning goals.

Shepherd’s Petty named to All-Region team
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University forward Joshua Petty has been named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Division II All-Atlantic Region Men’s Soccer Team.
Petty, a second team selection, earlier earned first team D2CCA All-Region honors.
Petty scored 12 goals and assisted on three others this season, including a PSAC-leading four game-winning goals.
The Rams completed the 2025 season with a 6-11-0 overall mark.
