WAYNESBORO – Downtown Waynesboro will come alive with classic cars, trucks and community spirit on Saturday, June 21, as Mainstreet Waynesboro and Buchanan Auto Stores present the annual Cruisin’ the Main Car & Truck Show.
The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature an expanded show ground, stretching from Broad to Potomac streets. Registration for participants will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an entry fee of $15 per vehicle.
Trophies and awards will be presented to the top 30 vehicles, along with a Best of Show honor. The first 250 registered vehicles will receive dash plaques. Door prizes and a 50-50 drawing will add to the excitement, and the trophy presentation is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
Spectator admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Market at the Park Farmers Market, open from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and enjoy the many restaurants and art galleries in downtown Waynesboro.
No alcohol is permitted at the event, and early birds are discouraged. The show is hosted by the Appalachian Golden Classics and supported by several local sponsors.
