CHAMBERSBURG – A member of Town Council has passed away. As a result, a seat is available and will be filled on June 26, 2023.
The seat represents the Fourth Ward. The successful applicant would serve in the seat through the end of the current year only, December 31, 2023.
The balance of the term of the late Council Member Larry Hensley, from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, will be selected at the General Election on November 7, 2023.
Applicants must be a registered voter, at least 18 years of age, and a legal resident of the Fourth Ward, having lived in the ward for one year or more. To see a map of Borough wards, please visit the Borough website at www.chambersburgpa.gov and click maps.
