CHAMBERSBURG– Since June 2022, the Borough Public Works Department has been working with contractors to refurbish the fountain on Glen Street. We are pleased to announce that all components of the fountain, including the cast iron walls, pedestals and concrete have been refurbished or replaced, along with street improvements around the fountain to better address stormwater runoff.
Town Council will have a ceremony to turn on the Glen Street fountain on Friday, May 17, at 2 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the fountain, with closure of Glen Street and King Street for a short period of time between 2 and 3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
