HAGERSTOWN, Md- The Chamber of Washington County will host its annual Post-Legislative Forum on April 29 at the Hagerstown Community College Student Center, providing local business leaders and residents a comprehensive recap of the 2026 Maryland General Assembly session.
The event is designed to offer insight into the legislative proceedings in Annapolis and how newly passed
laws will affect the local economy and community. Members of the Washington County delegation are
scheduled to attend to discuss their work during the session and answer questions regarding the impact of
specific bills on Washington County businesses and citizens.
Registration and breakfast will begin at 7 a.m., followed by the start of the formal program at 8 a.m. The
forum provides a platform for constituents to engage directly with their elected representatives following the
conclusion of the 90-day legislative session.
Jamison Doors serves as the primary sponsor for the event. Organizers emphasized the importance of staying
informed about state-level policy shifts that influence the regional business climate.
Tickets for the forum are priced at $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members through April 26.
The Student Center is located at 11400 Robinwood Drive in Hagerstown.
