SHADY GROVE, Pa. — The Shady Grove Ruritan Club is planning a major “Celebrate American” Friday evening in advance of the nation’s 250th birthday on July 4, at their club, from 6-9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
There will be NO entry fee charged for admission to this family-friendly event that is expected to attract hundreds of neighbors from across the region.
Club members are planning to celebrate with lots of delicious summertime food, live music, patriotic tributes, a spectacular fireworks finale and more. The evening’s program will feature gospel recording artists Tony and Kim Bolton from Franklin, Tennessee, who will sing patriotic songs and lead attendees in music that honors our nation. The club will also honor local veterans and highlight the Ruritan’s community service to the nation throughout the years.
Shady Grove Ruritans are asking groups to consider bringing an exhibit that highlights the area’s rich history and service to the country. There is flexibility with size of space, with both outside and inside space available at no cost.
