CHAMBERSBURG – The fouth annual Keystone State Carving Event will return to Twin Bridge Campground in Chambersburg., from April 9-12. The four-day event will feature chainsaw carving demonstrations, speed carving competitions and an auction benefiting first responders and veterans.
Daily activities include food vendors, paramotoring displays (weather permitting) and speed carving shows. On Friday evening, visitors can join carvers around a bonfire. Saturday’s highlights include a car show from noon to 5 p.m., helicopter rides and a speed carving competition with audience voting. The event culminates in an auction at 3 p.m. Saturday, where attendees can purchase unique carvings.
The campground, located at 1345 Twinbridge Road, will open at 10 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on Saturday. Organizers expect carvers from around the world to showcase their talents throughout the event.
