CHAMBERSBURG – The Capitol Theatre Center announced its 2025-2026 season, featuring a diverse lineup of classic rock, country, comedy, bluegrass, movie events and more at its historic venue at 159 S. Main St. Tickets are now on sale for performances running from October 2025 to April 2026, including tributes to Journey, The Oak Ridge Boys, Johnny Cash and Elton John, along with interactive movie screenings and family-friendly events like the Polar Express Pajama Party.

Here’s a breakdown of all the wonderful events happening:
OCT. 4 (Saturday – 7 p.m.): ESC4P3 The Journey Tribute at Capitol Theatre welcomes the original Journey Tribute featuring the incredible Steve Perry impersonator, Jason Kelty. Concertgoers will relive all the greatest Journey hits and fan-favorite album cuts. Using the original spelling from the legendary album that included the biggest JOURNEY hits of all time, E5C4P3 (“Escape”) is perhaps the oldest tribute band of all time. OCT. 25 (Saturday – 9 p.m.): The Rocky Horror Picture Show Interactive Movie Event. The Halloween season isn’t complete for many viewers 18 and older without this interactive movie event featuring the popular 1975 horror/musical comedy (R). A costume parade will take place at 9 p.m., preceding the movie’s start. Prop bags are available for purchase while supplies last. An etiquette guide can be found on the Capitol’s website at thecapitoltheatre.org. Make it a double feature with Chambersburg Community Theatre’s Dracula Live (tickets sold separately) on Stage at 7 p.m. Beer, wine and concessions are available.
NOV. 9 (Sunday – 3 p.m.): American Made Oak Ridge Boys Tribute. This concert masterfully recreates the magic of The Oak Ridge Boys with stunning authenticity. This national touring tribute band captures the essence of the original Oak Ridge Boys, from the deep, resonant bass of “Elvira” to the feel-good spirit of “American Made.” Each song is delivered with precision and heartfelt emotion, making it a truly unforgettable concert.
DEC. 6 (Saturday -11 a.m. PJ Party/12 p.m. Movie): Polar Express Pajama Party & Movie – Patrons of all ages are invited to gather their friends and family to wear their comfiest pajamas for this popular annual event! The Pajama Party features a hot cocoa bar, inspired by a scene from the movie! This classic Christmas movie, based on the 1985 storybook, has been enjoyed by families year after year. Limited to 250. DEC. 11-14 Meredith Wilson’s Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical, presented in partnership with Chambersburg Community Theatre. Filled with humor, spectacle and beloved songs such as “Pinecones and Hollyberries,” “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “My State, My Kansas,” this joyous, heartwarming musical is pure entertainment. Production synopsis: Single mother Doris Walker doesn’t want her six-year-old, Susan, to have romantic notions in her head. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey, tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts. DEC. 23 (Tuesday): White Christmas Movie & Holiday Social: For many, this annual Christmas movie event at the Capitol has become a holiday tradition. The 1954 American musical film, starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen, has two screenings with a holiday social in between. The screenings are at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a holiday social at 5 p.m. The community is invited to stay after the first movie or come early to the second movie to enjoy the social festivities. JAN. 30 (Friday, 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.) Snowfall Ball/ An IceFest Family Friendly Event Celebrate the beauty of IceFest, sponsored by M&T Bank, and dance the night away at the Capitol Theatre Center’s Wood Center multi-purpose room! From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., enjoy a ballroom dance class with renowned local instructor Frank Hancock. From 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., join Capitol Theatre Center’s Executive Director Kelly Kozlowski and student dancers from Franklin County dance schools as Kozlowski teaches family members of all ages how to “Shake Your Flakes!” From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., have fun at the family-friendly dance party showcasing Frank’s classic ballroom moves or showing off your own to Kelly’s snowy steps! There will also be a Kid’s Korner craft area, refreshments and a themed photo booth. The event is partly sponsored by Keystone Health.
FEB. 7 (Saturday, 5:30 p.m.: Pop-up shops, cash bar/7 p.m.: stand-up comedy on stage) Gal’entine’s Event featuring comedienne Karen Morgan, pop-up shops and sweet & savory treats: Perfect for gals or anyone in need of a good laugh! Karen Morgan, a former trial attorney and now a nationally touring comedian, started her comedy career as a finalist on Nickelodeon’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Since then, she has performed in comedy clubs and theaters from New York to Hollywood and now in Chambersburg! This annual Gal’entine’s Event also features pop-up shops and offers a variety of sweet and savory treats. Beer, wine and concessions are available. Event in partnership with Keystone Health.
FEB. 28 (Saturday – 7 p.m.): Mountain Music & Moonshine: An annual foot stompin’ good time featuring headliner Remington Ryde and more bluegrass on stage, plus whiskey, bourbon, moonshine, beer, wine and concessions starting when the doors open at 6 p.m.
MARCH 13 (Friday, 5:30 – 8 p.m.): Irish Happy Hour: Featuring lively, authentic Irish music from returning Celtic band, Across the Pond, in the intimate setting of the Capitol’s Wood Center! Plus, Adult Irish-themed drinks, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, Irish food, Irish dancers, and an Irish-themed raffle! This annual Irish-themed party for ages 21+ is always a lot of fun! (Must reserve tables of 8 in advance. Limited number of tables. No at-the-door tickets.)
MARCH 26 (Thursday – 7 p.m.): James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash Capitol Theatre welcomes this popular national touring Johnny Cash Tribute back to the stage! Garner and his band faithfully recreate Cash’s biggest hits with stunning accuracy in this not-to-be-missed musical event. From special concert airings on PBS stations to shows at Folsom and San Quentin prisons, it’s easy to see why this is the premier tribute to the “Man in Black.” The show is a fun, toe-tapping trip down memory lane honoring Johnny Cash’s life and music, and the boom-chicka-boom sound of his longtime backing band, the Tennessee Three. Enjoy the hits of the Man in Black all over again: “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “A Boy Named Sue” and more! Beer, wine, concessions. APRIL 11 (Saturday – 7 p.m.): Philadelphia Freedom: A Tribute to Elton John Join the Capitol Theatre to celebrate America 250 with this classic tribute to Sir Elton John. Fans will be transported back to some of Elton John’s greatest hits and eras. Doug Delescavage portrays Elton John in his 20s, with impressive piano skills, a captivating voice, and an inventive fashion sense. Doug and his top-notch band have performed across the USA, playing hits like “Rocket Man,” “Crocodile Rock,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” “Bennie and the Jets” and of course, Philadelphia Freedom! Beer, wine and concessions available.
