Boro Pride Basketball Team Triumphs as League Champions in Gettysburg Basketball League

WAYNESBORO– Waynesboro Youth Basketball Association celebrated a remarkable victory on Sunday, March 3, as the 4th Grade Boys Boro Pride Basketball Team clinched the title of League Champions in the 4th Grade Boys Bracket at the Gettysburg Basketball League Championship Games. Their journey to success included a thrilling first-round playoff win against the James Buchanan Rockets with a final score of 24-20. The championship game against the Bermudian Spring Eagles was a nail-biter, culminating in a close victory for Boro Pride with a final score of 30-28. The team’s impressive performance throughout the season resulted in an overall record of 7 wins and 3 losses in the Gettysburg League for the 2023/24 season.
