BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT – A number of activities are set for this week and next at the Blue Ridge Summit Library. The library will be closed, however, in the event of inclement weather.
Activites include:
- Teen and Tween Night, Feb. 13, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.Ages 10 to 17 are welcome to join our weekly Thursday program. We typically play games, make crafts, eat snacks and have a great time.
- No Children’s Storytime on Saturday, Feb. 15. We will have grab and go crafts for any who come. Regular Storytime next week!
Next week’s events include:
- All FCLS Libraries will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17, for Presidents’ Day.
- Summit Stitchers: Feb. 18, Blue Ridge Summit’s quilting club will have their monthly meeting in the community room from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. New members welcome.
- Reboot! Adult Digital Literacy: Feb. 19 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. for our final Reboot! class in this series! These lessons are designed to instruct older adults on a wide variety of digital literacy topics!.One-on-one tech help will also be provided as time allows. Ten slots are available per session; readers may stop by the library or call 717-794-2240 to reserve a spot. This week’s topic is: Helpful Websites & Keyboard Shortcuts
- Teen and Tween Night: Feb. 20, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Ages 10 to 17 are welcome to join the weekly Thursday program.
- Children’s Storytime: Feb. 22 Saturday Storytime! This is a drop in storytime from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Come for the full hour, or just part of it! These stories, crafts and activities are different from those on Mondays.
