MERCERSBURG – The Greencastle Antrim Blue Devils youth football teams delivered a commanding performance on October 5, overpowering the host Mercersburg Rockets in a three-division showdown that highlighted the Devils’ speed and defensive prowess.
In the Peewee division, Greencastle’s relentless offense erupted for 31 points, while holding the Rockets to just 7 in a decisive 31-7 victory. The Midget matchup took an unusual turn with a 1-0 forfeit win for the Blue Devils after the Rockets were unable to field a full squad. Closing out the day, the Pony division saw Greencastle pull away late for a 26-6 triumph, capping a clean sweep for the visiting side.
