CHAMBERSBURG – As summer winds down, the community is preparing for a significant fundraising event to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County. On Saturday, Sept. 13, Keller Williams Keystone Realty will host a book drop-off day alongside the popular BBQ & Bags tournament, held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1035 Wayne Ave.
Residents are encouraged to donate books they’ve enjoyed over the summer, with drop-offs accepted directly into a moving truck at the event location. This initiative supports Habitat for Humanity’s mission to construct safe, affordable housing in the local area. The event coincides with the BBQ & Bags tournament, featuring a cornhole competition, kid zones, a local fire truck touch-a-truck activity and live entertainment.
Attendees can enjoy redemption BBQ meals for $5, free Windy Knoll Ice Cream and a variety of giveaways. Sponsored by BCM and hosted by Keller Williams Keystone Realty and Habitat for Humanity, this family-friendly event promises fun for all ages. Registration for the cornhole tournament is available on-site.
