MONT ALTO – The Borough of Mont Alto will host its first annual Fall Jubilee on Sept. 27, offering a day of autumn-themed festivities at the Mont Alto Recreation Area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.
The free admission event features a variety of vendors specializing in baked goods, artisans, yardsales, crafts, antiques, jewelry and handmade goods. Participating vendors include Stella & Dot, Craftymoma87, Sweet Creations, Bear Essentials, Vivid Variety, Grannies Attic, Pressed ‘N Pretty, JDL Handmade Crafts, Stacy Harper, South Franklin Charge, Central Baptist Church, Carolyn Fogelsonger, Madison Hongell, Zippaw’s Turnings and Karen Bingaman.
Live music will be provided by The Cruisers, performing from noon to 3 p.m. Food trucks and concessions will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including Mateo’s, Antietam Dairy, J&M BBQ, Acacia Lodge #586 F.&A.M. with chicken dinners and the Mont Alto Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary offering coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, pastries and more starting at 9 a.m.
Activities for children include a barrel train from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., face painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids bingo from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., cookie decorating from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and games with times to be determined.
Door prizes from local businesses will be drawn between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for adults and children, with winners required to be present.
Organizers encourage community members to join the celebration, marking the borough’s inaugural fall event.
