WAYNESBORO- Mainstreet Waynesboro and F&M Trust partnered to host the sixth annual Boro Blast on New Year’s Eve in downtown Waynesboro. The event brought families together for fun activities and giveaways at two locations: Main Street Park and The Counting House Banquet & Event Center. The highlight of the evening was the dropping of a giant chicken McNugget, honoring McDonald’s 50th year in Waynesboro. National Art Honor Society students from Waynesboro Area Senior High School crafted the impressive McNugget under the guidance of art teacher Melanie Erb.

WAYNESBORO- The 2023 Land O’ Christmas and Santa Workshop is a free event presented by the WALL Lions Club. This year’s event features new attractions, including a holiday train and raffles to benefit the WALL Club’s projects. The workshop is located at the Counting House, 10 W. WAYNESBORO- The 66th Christmas Parade took place on Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. The parade formed on CV Avenue near Turkey Hill and headed east to Broad Street, then headed south on Broad and disbanded at Memorial Park. The parade was Waynesboro’s biggest and had more than 70 entries. There was plenty of music, bright lights, candy, and of course, Santa Claus.
