CHAMBERSBURG–Franklin County Deputy Chief Juvenile Probation Officer Angela Mackley has been named the 2021 Juvenile Court Judges’ Commission Juvenile Probation Supervisor of the Year. A Franklin County employee of more than 20 years, Mackely has held a variety of positions in the county’s Juvenile Probation Department. In January, she was promoted to deputy chief juvenile probation officer. Mackley’s work extends beyond her supervisory duties as deputy chief. WAYNESBORO—The Rotary Club of Waynesboro recently hosted a Past Presidents’ dinner at the Waynesboro Country Club. Fifteen of 23 past presidents still in the club met for a meal and to discuss the club’s progress at the middle of the current president’s term. The 101-year-old club is part of the world’s oldest service organization. WAYNESBORO—The Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library wants to share the love of holiday lights this season through the Waynesboro Community Christmas Lights Project. Library officials are looking for photos of local outdoor light displays. “Participating is very simple,” said Karen Sourbier, adult services specialist. “Take a picture of your outdoor Christmas light displays.
