WAYNESBORO—Waynesboro Police are seeking information on an attempted robbery yesterday, Thursday, April 21. Officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to a reported attempted armed robbery at 44 W Main St. in the borough. According to police, the business proprietor reported an individual entered the business, produced a large knife and demanded money. CHAMBERSBURG – A new food assistance program to support area veterans, active military and their families has been announced by Franklin County Commissioners, the Franklin County Office of Veterans Affairs and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
