BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT–The Friends of Monterey Pass have concluded the second annual “Four Seasons Photo Contest.” While Monterey Pass Battlefield Park has consistently attracted Civil War and history buffs, the photo contest was started to attract a wider array of visitors, and highlight the beauty of the park and Monterey Peak. 15 amateur photographers submitted 35 different photographs taken between September 2021 and July 2022.
