WAYNESBORO – The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro will hold its fourth annual Christmas Sellabration on Dec. 5 and 6, inviting the public to shop local for handmade artwork and gifts. Seven galleries and studios in Waynesboro will open special holiday hours and offer exclusive discounts, giveaways, and refreshments as part of the event.
Arts Alliance Marketing Manager Greg Small encouraged residents to visit member locations for one-of-a-kind presents and to support the area’s creative community. Participating businesses will feature a wide variety of handcrafted goods, including paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber art, woodwork, photography, custom framing, laser-engraved items and stocking stuffers.
Each location will host its own promotions, such as discounts, raffles, refreshments and free gift incentives. Gallery 50 will offer 10% off purchases over $25 and complimentary snacks. Ceramic Arts Center will provide 10% off all pottery, while 42 West Arts Co-op promises free gifts with every purchase and complimentary refreshments. Sanders Creations & Laser Graphics will discount laser-engraved items by 25%. Gallery 35 East plans 15% off all art, Megan’s Custom Framing will host a $100 gift certificate raffle, and Holmes Watercolors will enter shoppers into a painting commission drawing for purchases over $30.
The nonprofit Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro supports area artists and organizations year-round and hosts weekly music and art events at Gallery 50 and Music Makers.
