Area high schools are preparing to honor the Class of 2025 with commencement ceremonies and baccalaureate services over the coming weeks.
Waynesboro Area Senior High School will hold its commencement at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 30. The baccalaureate service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the Oyer Auditorium at WASHS. See district website for streaming details.
Chambersburg Area Senior High School’s graduation will also take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 30. The ceremony will be livestreamed for parents, students and community members on the district’s YouTube page. The Chambersburg Middle School graduation will be streamed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29.
Greencastle-Antrim High School will celebrate its commencement at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, on Kaley Field. More than 250 seniors will receive diplomas, with remarks from class president Catalina Reiber, Superintendent Lura Hanks, and other school officials. Retired executive Tim Henry will deliver the commencement address. The Senior Walk is planned for June 3, and the baccalaureate service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, in the Shockey Family Center for Performing Arts.
Fairfield Area High School’s graduation is set for Thursday, May 29.
The Franklin County Career and Technology Center recognized its seniors during an awards ceremony held May 23.
