WAYNESBORO—The annual community candlelight service will be held Sunday at Camp Penn.
The historic Camp Penn Chapel will be open Sunday, Dec. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m., with cookies, hot chocolate and fellowship at 4 p.m., followed by the candlelight service at 5 p.m.
Adults, families and children are welcome. Bundle up (there is no heat).
Camp Penn is a ministry of the Susquehanna Conference United Methodist Church and is located at the southern edge of the Michaux State Forest on Old Forge Road across from Old Forge Picnic area. It is the site of summer camps and group retreats. Questions may be directed to 717-762-2693.
