Meet our Pet Of The Week, Dobby!
If you have been in to visit with us recently, you may have seen this chubby-cheeked boy hanging out in our free roam cattery, and more specifically, on our couch! Dobby came to us in January 2025 as part of a humane investigation and did have a bit of a rough start here with us due to severe double ear infections and his shyness with people. Now that he is as healthy as can be, Dobby has really come out of his shell, as well!
He is always one of the first to greet visitors to our cattery and has really enjoyed snuggling up in his human friends’ laps. Dobby doesn’t mind being held and enjoys scritches of all types and especially chin scratches! Dobby has gained quite a playful streak and when he isn’t napping on the couch, he can always be found tossing his toys around. A home with a couple cat trees or a tunnel toy to keep Dobby entertained would be perfect! This curious kitty has done well with other cats and definitely prefers the type that will snuggle up and sleep with him instead of bouncing around, trying to chase him around the room! We have not seen Dobby with dogs but he does wonderful with human friends of all ages.
