WAYNESBORO – Rainbow Gymnastics dazzled onlookers at the Mainstreet Park Farmers Market on Saturday, Sept. 20, in celebration of National Gymnastics Day. The local gymnastics club showcased their skills with a vibrant display of tumbles, flips off a mini trampoline, leaps, and full turns, captivating the crowd of families and market-goers.
The event, held under clear autumn skies, highlighted the athleticism and enthusiasm of the young gymnasts. Spectators cheered as performers executed precise routines, demonstrating the strength and grace that define the sport. The team also engaged the community by handing out flyers, along with gymnastic-themed word searches and coloring pages featuring gymnasts for children to enjoy.
National Gymnastics Day, recognized annually by USA Gymnastics, celebrates the sport and its athletes while promoting fitness and skill development. Rainbow Gymnastics’ performance embodied this spirit, inspiring attendees and drawing interest from potential new members.
